费迪南德说道：“我们在电话里聊过，当时你正准备去曼联签约，正在商谈回归事宜，我妻子都想杀了我！当时是凌晨一点，你打电话给我：‘里奥，发生了什么事，我们能解决一下吗？’起初回归曼联对你来说肯定是件好事，因为我记得在电话里你听起来很开心，但很显然，事情后来变得有点糟糕。”
