曼奇尼2023年7月被任命为沙特主帅，并签下了一份直到2027年的合同，年薪2500万欧。目前带队18场7胜5平6负，亚洲杯止步16强。目前18强赛前四轮1胜2平1负积5分，排名小组第三。
